Walk By Faith

Walk by faith, not by sight. As you take steps of faith, depending on Me, I will show you how much I can do for you. If you live your life too safely, you will never know the thrill of seeing My work through you. When I gave you My Spirit, I empowered you to live beyond your natural ability and strength. That’s why it is so wrong to measure your energy level against the challenges ahead of you. The issue is not your strength but Mine, which is limitless. By walking close to Me, you can accomplish My purposes in My strength.

For we walk by faith, not by sight. —2 Corinthians 5:7

Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. —Galatians 5:25

Have you ever said you were to tired to go workout? To tired to go play with your kids? To tired to go into work? Why do we do this when we are strengthened by the work of God? God has given us the ability to go beyond our natural powers and abilities when we lean on him. So instead of worrying about what we cannot do before we try, instead we should put ourselves in the situation and the let God take control.

This really speaks to me with a couple of things I have been deal with lately. I want to take this challenge and accept it. I want to force myself to get up and arrive at my job, the gym, the park, etc. and then ask God to take control. When we walk by faith instead of sight God will do amazing, limitless things.
